As part of its commitment to the care of older adults, NewYork-Presbyterian
Hospital and its affiliated medical schools, Columbia University College
of Physicians & Surgeons, and Weill Medical College of Cornell
University, brought a wide range of services together to form the
Centers on Aging. The Centers on Aging collaborate with the other
service groups within the Hospital to provide easy access to high-quality
services to address all the healthcare needs of older adults.
Under the guidance of leaders in the field of geriatrics, the Centers
on Aging are strong in the hospital room, the classroom, and the laboratory.
Dedicated inpatient units at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center
and at NewYork-Presbyterians Allen Pavilion ensure the best
clinical care for older patients, and the teaching and research programs
here are on the cutting edge of the study of aging and its effects.
In addition, the Centers on Aging are proud to offer HealthOutreach,
a support program with free membership for adults over 60 years of
age.
