| Insurance Help | Catalyst Scripts FAQs Q - What if my pharmacist says this card will not save me money? A - Your pharmacist will not know if the card will save you money until the prescription is sent through the pharmacist’s computer to CATALYST SCRIPTS for pricing. You are entitled to your prescription benefit. If your pharmacist does not want to comply with the CATALYST SCRIPTS program, you may want to consider going to a pharmacist that honors the CATALYST SCRIPTS card. Q - If my pharmacist is not currently a member of the Prescrip network of pharmacies, can they join? A - Yes. Simply ask your pharmacist to call the PRESCRIP Help Desk at the toll-free number on the front of your card. The Help Desk will be happy to enroll them into the network at no charge to the pharmacy. Q - What if my pharmacist offers a “Senior Adult Discount?” A - That discount will be taken into consideration by the CATALYST SCRIPTS computer in determining the lowest price for that medication on that day. Q - Do I have to include my social security number? A - Yes. Your social security card is important to us in setting up your unique prescription file. Catalyst Benefits, the company with whom we are working, hs this same program in place at several hospitals and senior centers around the country and always respects the privacy of the membership. Q - Can I add family members to the CATALYST SCRIPTS program who are not seniors? A - Yes. You can add any family member you would like. We only ask that these other members not be covered by another prescription plan. Q - What if I lose my card? A - We provide the first card to you at no cost. Lost cards are replaced for a fee of $5.00. Should you lose your card, send a note with your name, address, social security number and name of your program (HealthOutreach Plan number) to: Catalyst Benefits, 450 Skokie Blvd. Suite 903, Northbrook, IL 60062. Enclose a $5.00 check made out to Catalyst Benefits. Replacement cards take approximately four weeks to process. Q - Can I laminate my card? A - Yes. Many people find that laminating adds durability to their card. Q - Does this card allow for mail order purchase? A - Yes. Simply call, toll-free 1-866-565-0100 for home delivery information. Q - Can my friends join the CATALYST SCRIPTS program? A - In order to receive this prescription discount benefit, you must first be a member of HealthOutreach. Friends interested in joining the HealthOutreach program should enroll online.  |
