Insurance Help | Health Insurance Do you have a healthcare insurance or benefit question? HealthOutreach offers individual hour-long insurance counseling sessions with highly trained volunteers from HIICAP (Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program) sponsored by the New York City Department for the Aging. We can assist you through the confusing maze of Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, Medigap insurance coverage, employer benefits, medical bills, insurance claim forms and long-term care options. Learn about the benefits and disadvantages of managed care plans or discover the hidden benefits of your insurance plans—whatever your question or concern, we’ll help you to find the answer. A counselor will work with you to understand the problem, work to identify and prioritize solutions, and help to arrange services.
